Corrections Policy

How readers can report errors and how corrections are reviewed, documented, and published.

Report an issue

Email faysal@programmer.net with the page URL, the statement or calculator behavior in question, and a supporting source when possible.

Review process

We reproduce the issue, check the original source, test the relevant formula, and determine whether the error is factual, mathematical, methodological, technical, or editorial.

Correction levels

Minor: grammar, formatting, or a broken link that does not change meaning.
Material: a number, formula, interpretation, or omission that could affect a reader’s decision.
Retraction: content whose central conclusion cannot be supported.

Disclosure

Material corrections should be noted on the page with the date and a concise description. The page’s modified date should also be updated.
